SynchMotion technology is applied in profile linear guideways of QH series by Hiwin brand. The balls are separated with each other by a plastic separator, that gives an advantage of the speed and low-noise motion. The guideways of QH series were developed on the basis of the linear guideways of HG series, so it is possible to interchange the carriages of QH and HG series. The positional linear guideways of QH series are ideal for conditions that ensure quiet motion of the carriage at high speed.
Low noise level. Noise level reduction became possible by applying SynchMotin technology - the rolling elements (balls) are located between the dividers (separators) causing the contact and possible collision between the balls are eliminated, the circulation of rolling elements in the system is improved, that leads to the noise level reduction.
Self-lubricating design. The partitions between rolling elements are designed as the hollow rings with a through hole to ease the lubricant circulation. The special design of the lubricant path reduces the frequency of the lubricant reservoir replenishing. The rail guideways of QH series are supplied as the pre-lubricated. A productivity testing at 0,2C (the dynamic load) showed that after the 2500km damage of the rolling elements and the circulation path is not revealed.
Smooth movement. In standard linear guideways the rolling elements collide with each other when they start a moving, creating a friction force. This causes an increase of the resistance to the rolling. Due to SynchMotion technology, the profile rail guideways of QH series by Hiwin brand prevent this condition. When the block starts moving, the rolling elements begin their rolling consistently without touching each other, thus keeping the kinetic energy of the rolling elements and reducing resistance force to the rolling.
High productivity (speed). QH series shows the high speed characteristics and maximum productivity, due to SynchMotin technology. It is used for separating the adjacent balls thus resulting the low data of adhesion and friction between the adjacent balls.

Definition The preload can be set for each profile rail guideway. For this purpose oversized balls are used. Usually a negative clearance between the rolling surface and balls is used in the profile rail guideways for increase of the rigidity and accuracy. The curve shows that rigidity doubles with the strong preload. To avoid premature wear of the system, the preload over ZA type is not recommended for profile guideways, size of which is less than 20. |
