The guideways of MG series have a small size and light weight, they are easy to use with miniature equipment. All materials for the carriage and rail are made of stainless steel, including the balls and the retainer. Gothic profile of the rolling surface withstands the loads in all directions and it's characterized by special rigidity and precision. Steel balls are protected from the loss by retainer. The interchangeable models of certain accuracy classes are available.
Recirculation system of the ball rolling elements: carriage, profile guideways, direction system and fixing wire.
Lubrication system: grease nipple is available for MGN15, grease gun can be used.
Dust proof: end seal, bottom seal (optional for 12, 15 sizes), cap (12, 15 sizes)
Special properties of MGW series
1. Better perception of the load moments due to the wider shape.
2. Gothic profile of the rolling surface is extra rigid in all directions.
3. Steel balls are moved in small separator of the bearing, and do not fall out when a carriage is removed from the rail.
4. All metal details are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
Application
MGN/MGW series can be used in many directions, such as semiconductor equipment, printed circuit board assembly, medical equipment, robotics, measuring instruments, office automation and other directions requiring the miniature guideways.
Item numbers of MGN/MGW series
The profile rail guideways are divided into interchangeable and non-interchangeable models. The dimensions of both models are identical. Interchangeable model is more convenient because you can replace the carriage and rails without any problems. Their accuracy is nevertheless lower than that of non-interchangeable models.
Due to the strict control of the compliance with specified sizes, interchangeable models are an excellent choice for consumers having profile rail guideways mounted on the same axle not in pairs. The item serial number indicates the size, model, accuracy class, preload, etc.
Accuracy classes of MG series are divided into three classes depending on the accuracy: normal (C), high (H) and precision (P). A suitable model can be selected in accordance with the requirements of the machine in which profile guideway will be installed

According to standard the end seals are located at both ends of the carriage and protect from dust, that ensures an accuracy and long service life. The bottom seals are located on the sides of the carriage at the bottom to prevent contamination. When you order the bottom seals you should add an icon "+ U" after the item number of model. The bottom seals are available for sizes 12 and 15 (optional), they cannot be installed for sizes 7 and 9 due to limited installation space H1. When you install the bottom seal, mounting side surface of the profile guideway should not exceed the value of H1.
Hiwin offers a standard rail length to the needs of the client. For non-standard length E recommended size should not exceed 1/2 of the pitch (P). It prevents the instability of the rail end.
