Front panel F1000

ESTUN's front panel F1000 has been developed to adapt the communication between user and equipment. In comparison with analogues, it has a higher response speed, innovative functionality of the architecture, flexibility of the operations and easy-to-use interface of the service, all that things significantly simplifies the interaction between user and equipment in the sphere of industrial automation.


Description and functional features


Functional features

Universal ESTUN's front panel has the following features and capabilities:

1. Function of the communication protocol control CAN (CAN bus control).
The board that's responsible for motion control rules the operations of servo drive and displays the status of servo drive operation via  the communication protocol CAN. Means of this the function of lifting (axial) mechanism control up to 15 axes can be realized.

2. Function of the communication protocol control CAN (CAN bus control). 
The front panel F1000 connection and connection of the motion control board and programmable logic controller (PLC) are realized via RS485 bus, while the front panel F1000 is the leading element and it interacts via MODBUS-RTU, and the data rate is not less than 19.2kbps. The functions such as the parameters control, user program control, run command, status monitoring, diagnostics and others can be realized by using the communication protocol RS485

3. The motion control board and PLC can use its own protocol of IO port to exchange information between devices.
The motion control board and PLC are independent of each other, IO port (input-output data port) helps them to share the information, which includes transmission of the commands and received data analysis, and response of the motion control board and PLC.

4. User program control.
Using the front panel F1000, users can terminate the programming of each motion and logic process, and check, edit, change, store, upload, copy, paste, modify, compile the program and realize other operations. The command interpreter                 in motion control board can analyze the necessary user instructions.

5. Monitoring and diagnostics.
The mechanism of monitoring and diagnostics has the following functions: real-time monitoring of the input-output data status, monitoring of the internal state, monitoring of the user program operations, assessment of control system of the data packages, an emergency information recording and input signal control defined by the user in case of an emergency.

6. Encoder decryption function. 
The encoder has 4 ports, one of which provides an pulse data input. Users can define the connector port number for the pulse data input.

7. IO port expansion function.
The expansion of input-output data port and user-defined logic control are performed by PLC. Through the PLC programming, we provide the users with decryption module of input-output data protocol to achieve the logic of the programming functions control.

8. Independent command module.
The command module is the platform core, and users can apply it by programming the front panel F1000 to realize the required function. All the modules can be used separately, as they are independent from each other. These characteristics can satisfy any user who is interested in universality and expandability.

Users can write their own PLC program through the universal platform for implementation of logic function programming and monitoring. Programming of the front panel F1000 for using the software functional module in the motion control board allows the user to program the motion and also to control it. The motion control board has a few input-output data ports to help users make the simple logical control of functions without using PLC. The above characteristics allow the whole platform to have the logic control and the separation of logic control.
